Join HeartWay Inc. as an intern and gain meaningful, hands-on experience while making a positive impact in the community! Our internship program gives students the opportunity to connect with senior living communities through engaging artistic and creative activities designed to encourage connection, expression, and joy.
Interns will work directly with community members, helping facilitate activities and build meaningful relationships with older adults. In addition to community engagement, interns will have the opportunity to participate in supportive services trainings offered by HeartWay Inc. These trainings are available to the broader community and provide valuable opportunities to learn about topics that promote well-being, support, and community connection.
This internship is ideal for students interested in social services, healthcare, psychology, education, the arts, community engagement, or working with older adults. Develop professional skills, expand your experience, and make a difference through compassionate service.

We will meet with the students in advance and provide instruction, support and materials as needed. In addition to direct community engagement, interns will participate in supportive services trainings offered by HeartWay Inc. These trainings provide students with exposure to important community-based resources, supportive practices, and topics relevant to individuals and families.
Reach out to the site supervisor for availability and onboarding. Students will be interviewed and given an application that they must complete before starting the internship opportunity. Then complete all requirements for S4 placement onboarding.
