AI-Powered Data Analysis for the Staff Portal - Nyamboyo Technical SchoolAt — Nyamboyo Technical School
NTS's staff portal has been built over the past two years by CSUMB students and now houses several applications used to track student enrollment, exam scores, attendance, health records, and more. Students working on this project will code and integrate AI-driven analysis tools that surface insights from this data, such as:
-
How attendance rates have changed over time
-
How attendance compares between female and male students
-
How malnutrition indicators change between students' entry into the program and graduation three years later
-
Find interesting insights from the data we not already have noticed
This is a hands-on software development opportunity that will involve working closely with the CSUMB student (now young professional) who piloted the staff portal and serves as our web-master. Students will also work with an existing codebase, structured data, and applying AI/analytics techniques to generate meaningful insights for our organization.
Good fit for students interested in: applied data science, full-stack development, working with real-world longitudinal datasets.
2-3 service service learner spots.
This is assigned by the CST 462 Faculty.
