FWA MILE InternAt — Frontwave Arena Management Inc.
Frontwave Arena’s Marketing Internship Learning Experience (MILE) gives college students hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industry. Interns work alongside the marketing team supporting live events, professional sports, community initiatives, and venue marketing through areas such as social media and content creation, digital marketing, graphic design, and event and grassroots marketing. The program is designed to provide real-world experience, professional development, and exposure to the day-to-day operations of a professional sports and entertainment venue. The internship is unpaid and offered for academic credit through an accredited college or university.
By the end of the opportunity, students may develop practical skills in social media, content creation, digital marketing, event promotion, grassroots marketing, and brand communication within the sports and entertainment industry. Students will gain experience supporting live events and professional sports teams, collaborating with a marketing team, creating and executing promotional campaigns, engaging with fans and community partners, and working in a fast-paced professional environment. They may also strengthen their communication, organization, teamwork, time management, and creative problem-solving skills.
Students will receive hands-on training and guidance from Frontwave Arena’s marketing team throughout the internship. Training will include an introduction to Frontwave Arena’s brands, marketing strategies, brand standards, social media platforms, content creation processes, event operations, and promotional procedures. Students will also receive guidance on specific tools and responsibilities related to their area of focus and will have opportunities to learn through job shadowing, team collaboration, feedback, and real-world event experience.
