Welcome and Sign in parents to the center
Support parents/caregivers and their children with learning activities
Curriculum/program planning of developmentally appropriate activities
Program implementation
Lead daily activities including Story Time and Music and Movement
Support general office duties, filing, copying, data collection/entry
Organize and sanitize the ELC
Training:
Initial 3 hr orientation training-weekly reflective supervision with supervisor, ongoing support from staff including literature as needed
Learning Outcome:
•Understand and gain knowledge about typical and atypical development in children 0-6 years of age
•Create and implement developmentally and age-appropriate programs/activities
•Understand range of individual differences that exist in children and how these differences influence behavior and learning
•Understand social, cultural, and diversity within which children develop
•Communicate and interact effectively with children and families
•Support parents in their role, provide information/resources as needed
