Opportunity Summary 

A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works directly with clients, often children, to help improve communication, social, and daily living skills. RBTs follow behavior treatment plans, teach new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, collect data, and work under the supervision of a BCBA.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

I hope to improve my communication skills and learn how to work effectively with children and families. I also want to gain more experience managing challenging behaviors and using different behavioral techniques to support clients. I hope to learn how to better track client progress, build positive relationships, and work as part of a professional healthcare team. Overall, I want to gain hands-on experience that will help me grow professionally and prepare me for my future career.
