• Description of Organization: The Service Learning Institute at Cal State Monterey Bay connects students, faculty and community partners through hands-on learning rooted in civic engagement and social justice.

Every undergraduate student completes at least one service learning course as part of their degree. Students work with local organizations across Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito counties, applying classroom knowledge while building leadership skills, professional experience and community connections.

• Hours Fellows can Serve at this Site: Mon - Fri 8am - 5pm, occasional weekends

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: As a College Corps Fellow in the Health focus area, you will serve as part of an organization that will address challenges through community mobilizing and education. In your role at this site, you might: 

• Offering timesheet office hours
• Provide in-person and online support in small groups and individually 
• Supporting students in their service journey
