Ocean Access InternAt — California Marine Sanctuary Foundation
In the Ocean Access Project, we aim to learn more about how people across California’s coastal communities - including Tribal and underserved communities - access, use, relate to, and/or value the ocean. The internship will support cleaning and analysis of survey, interview and focus group data conducted as part of research. Additionally, the student will support outreach and communication about the project.
The ocean access intern will join a dynamic team working to understand how Californian's use and benefit from the ocean, and barriers to ocean access. They will gain hands on research experience with natural resource social science methods, and gain insights into the connection between science, management, and policy. The intern will have the opportunity to work with CMSF staff and with partners at other partner organizations.
Training in social science research methods and communication.
