Opportunity Summary
A PT aide assists the physical therapist and PTA with the daily operations of the clinic. They help prepare treatment areas, set up and clean equipment, assist patients with exercises under the direction of the therapist, maintain a clean and organized clinic, and help with patient flow and room turnover. PT aides may also assist with stocking supplies and basic administrative tasks as needed.

I hope to learn more about physical therapy, patient care, therapeutic exercises, and the daily operations of a physical therapy clinic. I also hope to gain hands on experience working with patients, develop communication and teamwork skills, and better understand the role of a physical therapist as I explore a potential career in healthcare.
