● Excellent opportunity for someone thinking about a career in Pediatric Therapy ● Allows opportunities for the volunteer to network and develop professional relationships with the therapists at the clinic ● Knowledge that you are working as a team to ensure that Wonderkind Pediatric Therapy functions and runs smoothly ● Opportunities to observe Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapy sessions ● Volunteer work experience ● Possible professional letters of recommendations provided. ○ Any request for a letter of recommendation must be submitted via email at least 1-month prior to when letter is needed. Please cc’ Maddie/Jonelle on email requests. ○ Volunteers may only receive one letter from Wonderkind Pediatric Therapy. ○ A letter of recommendation is not guaranteed and is based on work performance.
In clinic and hands on skills regarding clinic tasks and responsibilities as well as first hand experience with families and clients through sessions. They also have the opportunity to discuss and learn directly from licensed therapists conducting sessions in clinc.
Orientation on their first day for preparation of upcoming tasks and responsibilities
Any safety standards or medical cleanliness for the clinic will be taught and provided on the first day at orientation.
