Opportunity Summary 

The intern would assist the Human Resources Director and HR staff with a variety of projects and daily responsibilities, including: • Assisting with employee engagement activities and events • Creating and organizing employee and departmental binders • Filing and maintaining personnel records • Assisting with year-end file purging and records organization • Providing general administrative support to the Human Resources Department • Assisting with various special projects and other HR-related assignments as needed

Understanding of HR Operations Understand the basic functions of an HR department. Understand how HR supports employees, supervisors, department heads, and management. Understand the importance of confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information. Understand the importance of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail in HR work.
