Administrative Support/Patient Care CoordinatorAt — CoreOrthopaedic Medical Center
The student will provide support and complete assigned tasks to assist our administrative staff with various projects related to onboarding, training materials, and policy and procedure.
By the end of the internship opportunity, the student will gain practical experience in healthcare administration and medical office operations. The student will develop skills in reviewing, organizing, and creating policies and procedures; supporting the development of new employee onboarding processes; and creating clear, effective training and educational materials. The student will also strengthen their professional communication, organization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and project-management skills. Through these projects, the student will gain a better understanding of how standardized procedures, employee training, and onboarding contribute to efficient operations, consistency, and a positive workplace environment.
Training will focus on three key areas: understanding administrative support and office operations, learning how to develop and organize policies and procedures, and understanding how to prioritize and implement new processes. .
The student will be remote. No safety concerns.
