Opportunity Summary 

The goal and mission of Vista Community Clinic (VCC) is to help our community and patients choose and improve their health. VCC aims to provide comprehensive and high-quality care through both patient education and primary care.

VCC serves the patient population of San Diego, Riverside, and Orange counties through establishing clinics, patient outreach, and extensive care services.

VCC’s Clinical Operations Department is seeking a healthcare/public health intern to be involved with patient calls, outreach for HEDIS (gaps in cares patients may have that they need to come in for), some letters and postcard labeling, help assign patients to the patient rooms, work with operations. The aim of the project is to provide volunteers an opportunity to get a glimpse of how a medical practice/department looks in the background.
