ASES Volunteer TutorAt — Titans After School Program
If you are looking for a great opportunity to acquire some ?in-class? experience, here is your chance! ASES is seeking volunteers to assist ASES Aides in classes after school.
ASES Volunteers under the supervision of ASES Aides in classrooms of 20 students in grades 3-8, on tutoring, homework assistance, and educational enrichment (fun activities on Fridays).
Many ASES students are from low-income families and are 1st generation English language learners. ASES Volunteers will be assisting in our goal to help our students increase reading comprehension and fluency in English.
This is a phenomenal opportunity for people seeking careers in teaching because it affords you experience in the classroom and exposes you to the thrill of seeing young minds expand.

Volunteers have options:
? Whether you can volunteer 2 hours a week or 8 hours a week, you are welcome with ASES!
? You will have the option to get certified. This means that if an ASES Aide is unable to work the day you volunteer, you can lead the class in his/her place and earn money!
Where and When:
Locations are within the Buena Park and Tustin School Districts. You have the option of working with elementary school students or Junior High students.
Volunteer opportunities are Monday-Friday from 2:00 p.m. ? 6:00 p.m.
