Opportunity Summary 

Position Description

Our youth programs volunteer would focus on creating crafts, virtual workshops, and virtual tutoring for the youth in our shelter. This position works closely with our case management team to ensure the children in our shelter are able to have fun while doing distance learning.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes

Volunteers/Interns in this position should expect to have a better understanding of youth homelessness in our community, develop skills to work with children of different age groups, and learn ways to incorporate distance learning.

Desired Qualifications

All majors are welcome to apply for this position however priority will be given to child development, human development, and psychology.

Length of position 16 weeks

Hours per week Flexible depending on course requirement.
