Position Description (e.g. tasks, projects, assignments)
The tutor would be supporting a teacher online with students with math, reading and a project. The tutor would supervise small groups supporting students that need extra support, outside the big group time. Learning Objectives and Outcomes
-Help students with number sense, basic math skills - addition and subtraction
-Help students with sounding out words, simple writing activities.
Desired Qualifications
The tutor should be happy and easy to work with. Someone who likes children and is looking into becoming a teacher in the near future. Someone who has technology abilities to problem solve if something goes wrong or wonky.
Number of positions available 1 or 2
Length of position (Note: A semester is 16 weeks long.) 16 weeks
Hours per week 12 - 15 hours
