Opportunity Summary 

Student will be trained from day one to correctly assess and assist clients transitioning back into society. Student will fully integrate with treatment team to learn and assist their clients
By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned...
At completion of assignment, student will have a thorough knowledge of assessment tools, the ability to counsel clients 1x1, and also how to provide others services

  • Analyze and/or study data
  • Assist a professional
  • Create curriculum, lesson plans, and/or activities (including physical or hands-on activities) Create evaluations, assessments, or survey instruments
  • Develop, present and/or facilitate a workshop, training, or tour
  • Observe a professional and/or client
  • Participate in a workshop, training, or orientation
  • Participate in office and/or supervisor meeting
  • Serve as a client advocate/case manager
  • Shadow a professional
  • Support or assist with an event, program, or community project

What training will be provided to students to perform these responsibilities?
Training will be ongoing and continuous, student will be trained on the software used to document all contact, student will shadow staff professionals, while learning
