Opportunity Summary 

Meals on Wheels of Long Beach delivers meals Monday thru Friday to seniors, disabled and veterans in our community that are homebound and unable to get food and/or cook for themselves, as well as a friendly visit to check on their wellbeing on a daily basis.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will learn compassion for those less fortunate.

Opportunity Training 

We provide an orientation and any on-site training needed to perform any tasks.

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

We follow all CDC guidelines, requiring masks at all times and provide hand sanitizer as well as have bathrooms available for regular handwashing.
