AVID MentorAt — Oceanside High School
Opportunity Summary
AVID Mentors will be able to work with high school students who are interested in attending college. You will help with academic success, motivation, completing college and scholarship applications, give feedback on application essays, and be a role model.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
By the end of this opportunity, students will have learned the perspective of a first generation college student from the Oceanside community. They will learn how to enhance their tutoring skills, study skills and communication skills.
