Homeless Sector Student InternAt — County of San Diego Health & Human Services Agency

Opportunity Summary 

The COVID Homeless Sector utilizes undergraduate and graduate level student interns for evaluation, hygiene kit assembly and sector support. The Office of Homeless Solutions utilizes undergraduate and graduate level student interns for activities to address people who experience homelessness.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

COVID Homeless Sector and Office of Homeless Solutions organizational structure. COVID Homeless Sector and Office of Homeless Solutions overall activities. Support sector and new office in administration and health promotion projects.

Opportunity Training 

Through weekly meetings, training on strength based leadership will be provided to support the intern in bringing their best to the team. Job shadowing and interviewing teams members will be employed to learn about sector activities.
