Outreach, Marketing, Communication Intern-Aging StudiesAt — CSUF - College of Health and Human Development

The student will assist the Aging Studies Program with campus and local outreach to promote the program and assist with forming collaborations with local non-profits, as well as businesses, to promote the field of gerontology. 

Presentations to other departments, including business, communications, etc.

Tasks:

Community collaboration, presentations, verbal and written communication (eg, newsletters, social media postings).

Training:

Orientation, weekly staff meetings, ongoing group mentor meetings.

Learning Outcome:

Engage with the community.
Improve outreach and advocacy skills
Increase management, writing, creativity, communication, and collaboration skills.
