Opportunity Summary 

Under the guidance and supervision of Greenfield Community Science Workshop staff, facilitate fun and exciting hands-on science activities in schools and public spaces. Please visit our Instagram page (@greenfieldcsw) to get a sense of the types projects that the Greenfield CSW offers to students and families.

Bilingual Spanish / English desired.

Requirements:

  • Interested in teaching and working with young student
  • Interested in building and learning from hands-on science projects
  • Science/Math background desired
Opportunity Training 

When acting in the capacity of assistant: NO training required. 

When serving as Lead Instructor of science activities or programs: training IS required. Trainings have an approximate duration of 1.5hrs and take place in Greenfield, CA. Service learners will always be provided with the necessary equipment, materials, and personnel help to facilitate hands-on science activities in a safe, professional, and personally fulfilling manner.
