Opportunity Summary
Service Learners (Science Students) will be:
- Inputting written data taken from Marine Life Studies research boat survey into an excel spreadsheet to be used for data analysis and future peer-reviewed journal publications
- Processing and editing photos/videos from Marine Life Studies programs (Research, Education, Conservation)
- Extracting identification photos of animals to be sent to other research entities nationwide
- Designing educational lessons/activities for kids to be distributed virtually: coloring sheets, games, arts & crafts, puzzles, etc
- Attending and taking notes on webinars, including topics on: current science, virtual fundraisers, social media, nonprofits, etc.
- Designing electronic flyers/graphics for social media, logos, events, etc.
To go out on the research vessel, students must have an entire day free.

- their status of vaccination,
- resume, and
- availiability during the week.
We are only doing in-person volunteering with fully-vaccinated individuals.
Priority will be given to students that have full weekdays off. To go out on the research vessel, students must have their entire day free.
