Learn administrative processes related to safe patient handling in a large healthcare organization serving veterans.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

The student will learn the following and more:

- medical terminology

- organizational structure in a healthcare setting

- tracking, training, and application of safe patient handling

- administrative responsibilities behind this service

- shadow and possibly support the program lead

- others as applicable and agreed upong between the student and preceptor

Opportunity Training 

Training will be on the job and performed by the preceptor.
