Opportunity Summary 

Service Learners will create outreach materials, sharing stories about our work on the UCSC Fort Ord Natural Reserve (FONR). Writing will be in the form of short news articles posted on our website and social media sites.

Ideal candidates will effectively tell students about potential projects they can do on the reserve and inform donors of the value that UCSC FONR provides to the university and the general public.

Previous experience in internships or research at UCSC Fort Ord Natural Reserve is a plus!

Bilingual Spanish/English desired.

1-2 Service Learners

 

Opportunity Training 

Staff will present protocols and prompts for the work and work alongside students as they create content, have questions, etc.
