Opportunity Summary 

Learn more about what goes on behind the scenes in HealthCare. Learn best practices for working with insurance groups and speak with many different specialists to learn more about their practices. Delve into the logistics behind a successful practice.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will have learned how important it is to be organized and appropriately follow-up. They'd have learned how to appropriately correspond with different IPAs and how to unpack a problem and follow-through to elicit a solution. Students will have learned how to speak with various specialist offices.

Opportunity Training 

Training will onccur on site. Students will be debriefed before the start of every task. They will be able to direct contact their supervisor if any questions arise

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

TotalCare is a Primary care and Urgent care clinic with office space located within the clinic. We do have patients coming in for various issues. Students will not be in direct contact with any of these patients.
