Opportunity Summary 

Behavior Technicians provide behavioral therapy to children and teens impacted by Autism or those that have other developmental disabilities. Students will run programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts. These programs teach a variety of skills to children with disabilities.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Working with children 1:1 and teaching skills in domains such as communication, social interaction, safety and independent living skills

Opportunity Training 

Initial 40 hour straining will be provided and students will be assigned to a mentor that will guide them through the training

Additional risk specific to this opportunity 

All families are notified of the environmental safety requirements before student is assigned to work with a child in his/her home.
