Education & Communications CoordinatorAt — Monterey Waterkeeper

Opportunity Summary 

Monterey Waterkeeper is looking for two students to support our education and communications initiatives. Students will help research and create outdoor education curriculum, as well as coordinate and attend outdoor education trips. Students will also update the public and media about the organization's work via social media, blog posts, and coordination with media. Students may also help research grant opportunities for Monterey Waterkeeper.

Requirements:

  • Computer Literacy
  • Must be 18 or older

 

Opportunity Training 

Monterey Waterkeeper will provide research and writing training to students.  For outdoor education activities, all necessary safety equipment will be provided.

We will co-create a workplan with each student and supervise students as they execute their workplans. We will provide guidance and check the work of students before finalizing their work products.
