Opportunity Summary
Students will have the opportunity to increase access to nature and the natural world for Spanish speakers by translating the Zoo's impactful curriculum and crucial documents for education programs, special events, and daily operations.
Opportunity Learning Outcomes
Students will learn how critical access to conservation information and the organizations that create them are as well as an understanding that increased access to nature programs that foster environmental stewardship and contribute to local conservation is vital in the fight for environmental justice.
Opportunity Training
Training on conservation science vocabulary and other industry vocabularies
Additional risk specific to this opportunity
General SB Zoo safety protocols will be adhered to for any on-site visits from students.
