Opportunity Summary 

Intern will be provided with tools to remain organized while working on projects. A lot of the work will include reviewing client confidential files and writing professional business-style closing letters. Intern will also likely make some phone calls to clients to assist attorney to keep cases moving forward. Promising interns will be asked to help prepare for hearings and to draft letters to 3rd parties including landlords, Housing Authority and/or other 3rd parties.

Intern should have good to excellent writing skills and can expect to improve their writing over the course of the internship. Intern will be asked to provide a witing sample before being accepted.

Opportunity Training 

Students can observe and listen to the staff meetings and case reviews. These are currently being held on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-12:30 (usually shorter.) There are trainings that the intern can attend to learn about various areas of law or to learn more about their interests.
