Opportunity Summary 

TRIO SSS is a federal grant-funded program designed to assist first-generation and/or low-income students pursue a higher education through in-depth academic advising, guidance, and academic support services.The design of the program is to assist and support students academic and personal goals of graduating and transferring from the community college to a four-year institution. You will serve as a Peer Mentor/Coach and assisting with a variety of projects and/or tasks that will focus on any of the following areas: First-Year students, Continuing Students, Graduates/Transfers; workshops focused on career and major exploration, personal development, transfer, etc.

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Computer Literacy
  • Driver's License
  • First Aid Certification
  • Must be 18 or older
  • TB Test
Opportunity Training 

This would include one-on-one training with supervisor, staff, and/or video trainings provided through MPC's Human Resources department. Weekly or bi-weekly check-in meetings.
