Opportunity Summary 

The role of the AS Farmers Market Student Volunteer may entail:

  • Assisting the AS Farmers Market Student Assistants with Farmers Market set-up and take-down (set-up/clean-up crafting tables, check-in tables, A-Frames, etc.)
  • Using clickers to count the number of market participants, tallying the scores at the end of each hour
  • Being a floater/ensuring Market operations run smoothly
  • Running the check-in table through helping with MyRaft check-in, assisting with raffles, handing out flyers, etc.
  • Performing other duties on the Market day as assigned by the AS Farmers Market Student Assistants or the AS Programs & Communications Coordinator

Volunteers must be available for the majority of the duration of the Farmers Market (including set-up and clean-up), which runs on select Thursdays each semester from 1:00pm-6:30pm.
