Community Services InternAt — City of Temecula
The City of Temecula offers year-round and flexible schedules for students. The internship program is offered to undergraduate/ graduate college students who are looking to gain experience, earn college credit, or simply get involved with their local government.
Students will gain hands-on project experience, expand problem-solving skills, and develop personal and professional networking skills through their work. They will have the opportunity to assist in community projects for various departments throughout City Hall. Interns will coordinate community programs and events, and these responsibilities will allow interns to develop invaluable workforce skills like project management, budget management, office professionalism, and communication skills.
Upon starting, students will take the first two weeks of their internship to learn about the different projects in the department, our processes for organizing curriculum, and then start working with an existing intern on a designated project to learn while also slowly gaining more responsibility.
To apply, please email a resume, cover letter, and letter of recommendation to Charles Walker at charles.walker@temeculaca.gov.
