Elementary After School CareAt — Turning Point Christian School

Much like an instructor, you also assist with homework assignments. Other duties include maintaining discipline, keeping community area organized, and encouraging creativity. Communicating with parents should any concerns or behavior arise.  

Supporting age appropriate curriculum and activities, and offering behavioral support. Communicating with classroom teachers and parents of progress, issues or concerns and success of students.

Training:

Orientation, job shadowing, 1 on 1 training and feedback on performance.

Learning Outcome:

By the end of the internship the student intern will be able to conduct the following:
Create curriculum and implement activities that keep children engaged and learning.
Perform classroom management
Utilize all modalities of learning
