Wetland Environmental Educator Service Learning - WWWAt — Watsonville Wetlands Watch
Come share your love and passion for the environment with the youth in the Pajaro Valley! At the beginning of each school year, Watsonville Wetlands Watch recruits and hires 12 high school youth from Pajaro Valley High School to take part in a year-long internship called Wetland Stewards. These 12 high school mentors meet weekly with staff to learn wetland lessons and activities that they then replicate in the afterschool program through the PVUSD Expanded Learning Program. The Wetland Stewards after-school program is a unique opportunity that provides CSUMB Service Learning students the opportunity to support our high school mentors as they share what they are learning about the Wetlands of Watsonville with elementary students.
