About Youth Alliance: Youth Alliance unleashes young peoples’ talent and brilliance to build a community-led movement for change in South Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. We exist to create thriving and equitable communities for youth and families to be heard, engage, thrive, and lead by providing opportunities and safe spaces. For our youth and parents, we offer cultural organizing, community healing, and opportunities for civic engagement. Multimedia Production and Creative Services Support Opportunity: Youth Alliance is looking for creative and passionate storytellers to help tell our stories of impact and change in our communities! Help create content and awareness for Youth Alliance and our programs. NOTE: Time Commitment: Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. Must be able to meet and receive Fingerprinting/Background Check clearance as required to work with children in a school setting. Students, please reach out before February 21st, 2024.

CSUMB SLI Students will be trained in multimedia content creation, social media best practices, podcast setup/ recording/ editing, and dissemination. Students will engage with YA staff and youth participants. The Youth Alliance Communications Coordinator will work with SLI students and meet regularly to ensure ongoing support and supervision.
Students may be working unsupervised with minor or other vulnerable populations. Latinx youth and parents, TAY (Transitional Aged youth), High Promised Youth.
