Opportunity Summary 

Hands-on experience serving the homeless and working poor population. Work as a part of a team to offer basic essentials to individuals who need support. Give out and keep track of food, blankets, hygiene products, and other essential items.

Opportunity Learning Outcomes 

Students will develop empathy for the reality of homelessness and poverty in North County San Diego, and they will experience what boots-on-the-ground social work looks like.

Opportunity Training 

Mandatory general onboarding training before volunteering, then specific training once onboarded.

Opportunity Application Instructions 

Students will need to attend an orientation the first Saturday of the month.
