Digital Media Producer - Graphics & VideoAt — Nouns Esports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to lift items up to 50lbs
- Some travel may be required - the applicant must have a Real ID or Passport
- Applicant must have a valid driver's license
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit videos surrounding the Nouns Esports Teams such as player intro videos, hype videos, interviews, commercials, short-form and long-form pieces
- Bring new ideas to life in the editing room
- Assist directors, senior and mid-level editors, creators, and designers.
- Work closely with the Sr. Video Editor, aid with post-production tasks in the pipeline, and work collaboratively with team members.
- Organize and build projects of high-end video features when needed.
- Sync audio & create proxies on all intake for interviews, commercials, and other productions.
- Organize and set up projects and project folders when needed.
- Tag video and assets when needed in the post-process.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment

COMPETENCIES:
- Editing an event, hype, and other videography-style videos is required.
- Pre-Production
- Ability to prepare necessary materials in the pre-production process such as mood boards, storyboards, reference and inspiration guides, and more that are focused on the post-production process (such as effects, presets, looks, and more).
- Production
- Ability to be a production assistant on-set as needed.
- Post Production
- Ingest (experience syncing audio and creating video proxies).
- Color Correction (experience in Lumetri Scopes a must, experience in Da Vinci Resolve a bonus).
- Knowledge of conversion and style LUTs.
- Knowledge of Essential Sounds and Essential Graphics (such as mogrts).
- Ability to mix sound and sound design is a plus.
- Assist Senior Editor on best practices for video editing projects
- Experience with Dynamic Link in the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Camera & Equipment
- Experience with various 4K cameras and audio equipment is a plus.
- Experience with camera stabilizers is a plus.
- Experience with lighting, grip, and electric equipment is a plus.
- Understand frame rates, codecs, resolutions, and other technical specifications of cameras and video outputs.
- Understand different delivery mediums and specs (such as social media, TV, and more).
- Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (such as Premiere Pro, Audition, and After Effects).
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
- Basic motion graphics experience is a plus.
- Create audience facing branded content spanning social media videos and graphics
- Coordinate with team of creative professionals and leaders to plan and execute creative content
- Maintain an organized task board with status updates and realistic timelines
- Attend weekly creative and staff calls
Training:
- Onboarding/orientation meetings when starting the role overviewing general organization level information and creative practices
- Near daily coordination with management going over: current creative projects, lessons on execution and workflow optimization, planning/preproduction
- Onsite production shadowing with hands-on experience
- Weekly all-hands with the board of directors for critiques and review
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to:
- Showcase a professional creative portfolio with impressive videos and still graphics
- Efficiently coordinate and produce multi-media deliverables in a timely manner
