Care for and supervise children inside and outside. Help children learn good social skills. Help the teacher with activities, time management, and classroom management.

Keep children safe by enforcing classroom and playground rules and procedures. Have children in the appropriate areas at the correct times as well as serve snacks and lunch at the correct times. Working and talking to the students and classroom teammates throughout the day. Work with the children to use their words and express thier feelings.

Training:

Training will be provided through Initial general employer orientation, training videos, job shadowing, as well as mentor meetings (formal and informal).

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the internship, the student will be able to have some classroom and time management skills, communication skills with students and teammates, as well as understanding social skills to teach students.
