Behavior TherapistAt — Bloom Behavioral Health

Behavior Therapists work directly in the home with Bloom Behavioral Health's patients. Our patients have a diagnosis of autism and require direct 1:1 intervention. The Behavior Therapist is required to perform tasks as outlined and directed by the program supervisor. Behavior Therapists will create structured learning opportunities for the client and implement behavioral strategies. The Behavior Therapist is also required to collect data on the client's responses and graph at the end of every session.

Training:
Staff will trained in ABA principles, theory, philosophy, and how to implement behavior tactics and strategies. Staff will also be trained on how to collect data, graph, and make data-based decisions on their client's learning.
Learning Outcomes:
Students will learn what is autism, ABA concepts and principles, implementation of ABA strategies and tactics, data collection, and clinical summary notes.
