Golf Tournament Volunteer At — Boys & Girls Club of Vista

Opportunity Summary 

BGCV's hosting their 1st Annual Golf Tournament, we're looking for volunteer support:

 

  • Sept. 11 @ BGCV (410 W. California Ave)
    • Event Prep Day (9a-12p): stuffing swag bags, assemble auction baskets, supporting golf prep needs, etc.

 

  • Sept 13 @ Links at Lakehouse in San Marcos (1750 San Pablo Dr.)
    • Set-Up Support (6:00a - 9:00a): registration table setup with materials needed for check in, transporting signs to holes along with other materials such as tables, chairs, vendor items, lunch area set up, etc.
    • Registration Support (7:00a-9:00a): checking in golfers, sharing information on cheat sheet about event, directing golfer to breakfast area/golf carts/etc.
    • Check Out Support (1:00p-4:00p): checking out golfers, handing top bids their items, directing golfers to lunch or best route to exit, etc.
    • Tear Down Support (2:00p-4:00p): removing items from all holes (i.e.: tables, chairs, etc.), bring silent auction items to BGCV vans,

what it takes to run a fundraising golf tournament, donor stewardship skills, networking skills, etc.

Opportunity Training 

Training will take place day of before registration opens at 7:30am.
