As the shop's online presence grows, we seek a creative-minded individual with graphic design knowledge to establish and elevate our brand through illustrations and graphics for our social media and merchandise. Using your creative freedom, you will closely work with the business owner to build a client-artist relationship that sets you up for future professional job environments.

Your specific responsibilities include:
- Brainstorming with the business owner to come up with ideas and graphics to elevate our brand.
- Preparing and designing rough draft pattern illustrations for our branded items.
- Creating refined designs and illustrations used towards promoting our social media and overall brand.

Responsibilities & Projects include:
- Brainstorming with the business owner to come up with ideas and graphics to elevate our brand.
- Preparing and designing rough draft pattern illustrations for our branded items.
- Creating refined designs and illustrations used towards promoting our social media and overall brand.
- Design social media and marketing materials.
- Create community outreach flyers, signage, and various illustrations to establish a cohesive brand.
- Create patterned designs for stickers, labels, cardboard mailers, etc…

Training:

The intern will check in weekly with the small business owner to collaborate on designs that will establish the business brand and work towards completed graphics for social media.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this internship, the student will learn to communicate with future clients when artistically promoting their businesses through personalized designs. Not only will they learn to grow in their professionalism when it comes to client-artist relationships, but the intern will be able to use their creative freedom and apply it to company-branded graphic design.
