Assistant TeacherAt — Fulbright Montessori Academy

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Preschool Teacher and Assistant Teacher to join our educational team at Fulbright Montessori Academy. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that fosters learning and development for young children ages 2-6. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and personalities of our students, utilizing both Montessori and other early childhood education approaches to help them achieve their full potential.

- work closely with a lead teacher to help create lesson plans that cater to Common Core
- present lectures to a class of 12 or more that correlates with created lesson plans
- grade papers
- speak to parents about their child’s behavior, incident, or academic achievements
- work with the team of teacher and brainstorm new ideas for school events and curriculum

Training:

- job shadowing
- team building meetings
- meetings with Montessori specialists
- weekly one-on-one mentor meetings

Learning Outcomes:

- create and implement age appropriate lesson plans to a classroom of 12 or more children.
- use Positive Reinforcements to help create a kind environment that allows children to thrive academically and socially.
