School Psychologist Volunteer - PVUSDAt — Pajaro Valley Unified School District - PVUSD (district-wide)

Opportunity Summary 

During the volunteer time, student will be observing the school psychologist to obtain first hand experiences. Studentswill also help with anything they need, from taking notes to setting anything up, printing/ making copies for them, and spending time learning from them. This would be a great way to get hands on experience and be as involved as possible with the job of a school psychologist. This opportunity can be extremely impactful if the student wants to be a school psychologist in the future. The student can work with different school psychologists, and in doing so will learn different parts of the job.

Requirements:

  • Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Fingerprinting
Opportunity Training 

They will be working side by side with a credentialed or intern school psychologist. The student will receive ongoing support from the school psychologist that they are assigned to.
