Tax InternAt — Bottom Line Financial

Opportunity Summary 

At Bottom Line Financial you will learn how to create a tax return for all entity types by using and learning about all tax forms, as well as learn how to strategize tax choices for clients. 

Preparation of 1120S forms.
Preparation of 1120 form.
Preparation of form 1065
Preparation of Form 1040.
Analyze form k-1 and apply it to an individuals return.
Look at two year comparison and generate helpful strategies for client.

Training:

You will go through initial orientation with your mentor for about three weeks. After you will be given tasks based off of what you have learned and what we believe you would be able to handle, with your mentor at the ready to help and assist you if necessary.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this internship the student will be able to: generate a tax return for all entity types, understand the different forms issued by the IRS and FTB, as well as apply them to a return, and strategize different tax options for clients.
