Course Assistant- S. MatarAt — CSUF - College of Humanities & Social Science
This internship is best suited for students who want to get introduce to pedagogy and develop skills required in education and teaching. The internship also gives the opportunity to advance in other related skills and competencies like communication, confidence and leadership skills along with emotional intelligence.
Learning Outcomes
-they will present or facilitate a mini-lecture or class project
-complete their hours by fulfilling them with trainings, and communications with students, teachers, and more.
-gain more knowledge and confidence by evidence of their speaking skills.
Training
-give some templates and training videos
-meet with the student often and communication weekly
-assess and check in on level of growth as project unfolds
Tasks/Duties
Demonstration by : clear, effective communication, skills via email
- attend office hours and prepare review materials for the week
-commit to the trainings and implementation of topics for the week
