Opportunity Summary 

What You'll Do:

    \n
  • Assist in all aspects of audio recording and production at Titan Communications
  • \n

  • Assist with studio and remote productions and recording
  • \n

  • Help with equipment maintenance and inventory
  • \n

  • Responsible for studio and production room organization and setup
  • \n

  • Perform and assist with playback of station programs, spots, and PSAs
  • \n

  • Support students and faculty in open labs
  • \n

  • Assist with setting up microphones, audio equipment, and edit stations
  • \n

  • Must be able to take direction and take initiative to be a valuable team player
  • \n

  • Must be available to attend meetings and work nights and weekends as needed
  • \n

  • Must be professional, energetic, and reliable with the ability to learn the fast-paced world of public relations, sales, and marketing of the broadcast industry
  • \n

  • Other duties as assigned
  • \n

\n

As part of this internship, students will gain experience in audio and radio production and operation. The internship also serves as an excellent opportunity to create a demo reel and portfolio.

Training:

  • Comprehensive policy and guideline orientation

  • Multiple hands-on workshop training days
  • \n

  • Additional training days specific to the job title
  • \n

  • Crewing on 30+ live broadcast shows throughout the semester
  • \n

Learning Outcomes:

  • Become an independent Audio Engineer capable of making professional segments/shows
  • \n

  • Work with the Production Coordinator to ensure all elements of sound/audio are done properly and in a timely manner
  • \n

  • Develop leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills
