Compost Hub Support: Cottonwood Urban FarmAt — LA Compost
As a Compost Hub Support Volunteer, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside our knowledgeable Compost Managers. Get ready to leave feeling accomplished, a little sweaty, and brimming with new compost knowledge. Roll up your sleeves and dive into a variety of engaging activities—whether it’s managing a three-bin system, tending to a compost pile, sifting finished compost, or exploring a mix of everything. There’s something for everyone, from beginners to seasoned pros! Plus, our Compost Hubs are situated in LA County’s most cherished green spaces: community gardens, urban farms, and beautiful parks. Join passionate community composters, learn to turn food scraps into rich compost, and connect with the local food system. Volunteer activity is best suited for volunteers aged 16 and up. Minors under the age of 16 should come accompanied by a parent or guardian. Contact ashleigh@lacompost.org for more information.
