IT InternAt — Accuride International

We are seeking an IT Intern to join our team, focusing on maintaining and optimizing our backup environment, building system images, and leveraging online platforms to improve operational efficiency. This role offers hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management, backup solutions, and system deployment. The intern will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all systems are properly backed up, optimized, and ready for deployment across the organization.

Tasks
Maintaining the backup environment
Managing systems and system images
Using online platforms to aide in this process

Training
Students will be able to facilitate the previously mentioned learning outcomes by working close with the manager who will provide live demonstration, as well as documentation describing and walking through the processes being performed. Students will be given feedback and correction as deemed necessary by their manager.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the academic internship, the student will be able to build systems to a company standard and create images, manage systems through multiple software platforms, and help secure company information through maintenance of a backup environment using backup software.
