Afterschool Program Assistant @ Salinas YMCA!At — Salinas Family YMCA

Children benefit form structured activities during out-of-school time. To provide youth with a safe, accessible, caring and an enriching environment, service learners will assist the YMCA by providing homework assistance along with educational activities.

Located within the Salinas Family YMCA, After School Kool (A.S.K.) provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children in grades TK through 6th. Open until 6 PM, we’re here to support working families and offer kids a fun place to learn and grow after school.

Service learners will learn how to engage with members and youth in our programs in addition to organizational skills, program curriculum, and customer service.

Requirements:

• Background Check (e.g. fingerprinting/livescan, driving record)
• Personal vehicle to get to off-site programming

Some childcare sites are at other locations, not the main YMCA campus.
