This position will help across multiple teams –from working on the podcasts, working alongside creators assisting with Storytelling, Audio & Visual Production, Strategic Planning, Attention & Focus on Integrate Details, Branding/Marketing & Social Media, scheduling and Admin work
Tasks
Use Pro-Tools to cut audio and promos for current shows and development departments
Curate and schedule daily content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Patreon, Edit and repurpose podcast footage into engaging short-form videos, Monitor audience engagement and respond to fan comments and messages, Track analytics and provide reports on content performance, Assist in brainstorming content ideas aligned with current trends and the brand's voice, Ensure consistency in tone, aesthetics, and messaging across all platforms.
Training
The student will be on site for all podcast recordings, any industry calls & client meetings They'll work closely with the Social Media Manager, they'll have on-one meetings weekly + will be able to contact any team members at anytime with questions/concerns/etc.
Learning Outcomes
1. Learn about the podcast business, from how we handle social media to key metrics for downloads and how development of new shows works
2. “Learning through doing” as they conduct episode research, expert interviews, write initial scripts, do fact and copy checking and generally work with producers, editors and hosts
3. Become adept at juggling several different assignments and come to understand how to prioritize work for different teams
4. Learning how to work with a professional production organization and becoming a key member of that team
